About this opportunity
As a 3D Metrology Technician you program measuring equipment and use it to inspect high-tech products. You support and advise colleagues in production, so that products are manufactured according to the precision requirements of high-tech customers such as ASML.
You work with ZEISS 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and ZEISS CALYPSO software, and you are involved in the inspection of almost 80% of the products made at the facility. That gives you a lot of variety. The company is a global supplier of complex mechatronic systems, founded in 1900 as the Philips machine factories.
Your daily responsibilities
- Programming and performing complex measurements on 3D CMMs
- Carrying out surface roughness, optical and manual measurements
- Discussing deviations and measurement results with production, work preparation and team leaders
- Verifying whether products meet the required specifications
- Monitoring product quality and process continuity
- Preparing measurement and inspection reports
- Registering non-conforming products in the quality information system
- Managing measurement data for further analysis
What you bring
- At least a completed secondary vocational technical education
- Demonstrable experience with measurement and inspection techniques
- Experience with CMMs and associated measurement equipment
- Knowledge of dimensional and geometrical tolerances (GD&T)
- Knowledge of machining, sheet metal fabrication and welding
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, accurate way of working
- Good command of English and willingness to learn Dutch
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system in the future
What you can expect
- Salary between €3,180 and €4,020 gross per month, depending on education and experience
- Currently a day shift position. When the department moves to a 2-shift system, a 20% shift allowance applies
- 8% holiday allowance
- 5% ADV allowance on top of your base salary
- 25 holiday days per year and paid public holidays
